"Deeply ripe Cabernet aromas, cassis, liquorice, earth, festive spices, some dried herb and leaves. The oak contributes a veneer of sweetness and it builds nicely with aeration. The texture is striking, super smooth, almost creamy entry, supple, rich and ripe with mouth filling cassis flavours and good weight. Toasty oak pushes up through the finish, velour like tannins drawing a long focused finish. This is a sturdy robust Cabernet."
